Funny how a challenge motivates! No promises it's any good, but I'm happy it's something, since it's the first creative piece I've written in months.
try to remember
how she fell overboard
when she left the boat deck
perhaps she just
slipped off
quietly
into distressed waves
as she peered through
her telescope
gazing
reaching for stars
never once looking down
